Chairing and conference organization

• Senior Area Chair for the Syntax: Tagging, Chunking, and Parsing track at ACL 2023, ACL 2024, EMNLP 2025, and ACL 2026.
• Area Chair for the Corpora and Annotation (including Tools, Systems, Treebanks) track at LREC 2022.
• Co-Chair of the System Demo Track at EACL 2021.
• Area Chair of the Computational Social Science Track at EACL 2021.
• Co-organizer of the IWPT Shared Task on Enhanced Dependencies in 2020 and 2021.
• Co-Chair of TLT (Treebanks and Linguistic Theories) in 2020 and 2021.
• Co-Chair of SyntaxFest 2019, a joint week-long event bringing together four conferences.
• Main organizer of the SPMRL Shared Tasks in 2013 and 2014, with responsibility for dataset creation, evaluation, and the overview paper.
• General Chair of the SPMRL’09 meetup at IWPT’09, and Co-Chair of the following three workshops.

Guest editing and reviewing

• Guest Editor of the special issue Parsing of Morphologically Rich Languages in Computational Linguistics (2013), with Reut Tsarfaty, Sandra Kübler, and Joakim Nivre.
• Since 2012, regular reviewer for the main conferences in NLP, including ACL, EMNLP, EACL, LREC, COLING, CoNLL, and TALN, as well as a number of specialized workshops such as SANCL, LAW, Disco, TLT, IWPT, Insights on Negative Results, BlackBoxNLP, and the Workshop on Noisy Text.
• Invited reviewer for the AAAI NLP track several times between 2018 and 2020.
• Reviewer for several journals, including Computational Linguistics (2012, 2023), Language Resources and Evaluation (2016, 2018), Natural Language Engineering (2016), Traitement Automatique des Langues (2011, 2020), ACM Transactions on Asian and Low-Resource Language Information Processing (2016, 2017), Transactions on Affective Computing (2024), and Transactions of the ACL (2025, 2026).

Other professional services

• Board member and Information Officer of ACL SIGPARSE.
• Vice-President of the French NLP Society (ATALA) from 2018 to 2020.
• Board member of ATALA from 2009 to 2012 and again from 2017 to 2020, also serving as workshop chair during that period.
• Organizer of the Alpage team seminar series between 2012 and 2016, with Marie Candito until 2014.
• Organizer of the Almanach seminar series from its creation in 2017 until July 2021.
• Elected board member of the Département de Sociologie et Informatique at Paris-Sorbonne from 2014 to 2018, and previously of ISHA (Institut des Sciences Humaines Appliquées) from 2007 to 2011.
